My entire strategy revolves around waiting for the right opportunities... To be ten steps ahead of my enemy, to give them very little time to react to something new. But sometimes, things just... Come together...

I have made it no secret in the past that I want Eggman dead. Looking back now, I do realize that Ivo was far more promising back then, as a young man looking to learn about science and robotics... But at some point, he went astray, and started to perceive what was once his own species as an enemy, and Mobian lifeforms as a work force to be enslaved and trapped in metallic shells that crudely resemble their old selves, in.... Vain mockery of their old identities. The boy who was curious and upbeat grew up into a complete monster, who defies individuality and valor... And sadly, I am convinced there is nothing I can do to make him stop.

Ivo Robotnik is dead, and Dr. Eggman has taken his place. I feel no sympathy, and therefore I am forced to kill him.

Working for his grandfather, back then, was a luxury, to any scientific professional. I was literally on top of the world, overseeing it, working with many others to create the so-called "ultimate lifeform". The first attempt was a fiasco that, years later, would prove to be the near-destruction of Earth, and the second attempt created a truly-loathsome, genocidal alien that has killed humans left and right in his attempt to "find himself". There is also the fact that my former "boss" went insane and rigged his own colony to drop on the planet either way, and his pathetic grandson apparently didn't want it to happen, for some reason. Hypocrite. Regardless, in chains and in his last few moments of clarity, he wept for his missing test subjects, as I escaped with the unconscious Johnathan towards Earth.

Gerald Robotnik died after the Space Colony ARK shooting, holed in a rotted prison cell. Last time I visited his grave, it was bent. Fixing the wooden body in my cane was troublesome.

And at last there's Maria... That pure soul, betrayed by the powers-that-be like me and my colleagues... Currently, Johnathan has adopted her after saving her life over 50 years ago, an act which even I admit deserves congratulations... Not from me, of course. Even if unknowingly, I almost killed her once, and in the brief lapse of sanity I had, I remebered the kinetic wires I had installed on NOAH to drag the REAL target out... So I'm not truly one to talk about being glad to see her alive... But still, the fact that she is makes me calmer, and happier to know that her name will live on... Or rather, won't. Her adoption papers now credit her as "Maria von Neuron". Johnathan now legally has a daughter under his name, and there is no sight of a "Robotnik" on that paper. I do offer her old parents my condolences, if anything else...

But Maria von Neuron lives, and is happier for it. While her old name is left forgotten to the ages.

And thus we come to the conclusion... The name "Robotnik" is being wiped clean from the annals of history. Maybe not genetically, but that will matter little, soon enough. Maria von Neuron will grow up, and hopefully have children that will bear her new name (if it's with Seymour, even better, and it makes me proud that he's found himself a proper girlfriend). Gerald is long dead, and Ivo is gone, with Dr. Eggman taking his place, with his delusions of world domination keeping him occupied.

The name is vanishing little by little. Once I kill Eggman and the Mistake, the world will finally praise Britannia for the gift that it is. From Humanity, TO Humanity. Saving and serving the human being and ensuring its pathway to perfection, while fully abandoning Chaos and its cohorts. We will be ascended, and live in a better world. A world where the evils of House Robotnik will be long forgotten and eroded by the ages to come.

Sometimes, things just... Come together.
Hope you like it!
