What is the constitution of a traitor? What is it that allows me to be so heartless and cruel to a man like Ivo Robotnik, or a creature like Shadow the Hedgehog? Some will say it is my "sense of entitlement". Others might accuse me of being a psychopath. And they can say what they please, but I prefer to say...

Because he does not see us as his equals.

Are we not all humans? Are we not brothers and sisters, deserving of attaining perfection together?! I do not wish to generalize, but our society has this problem... This glaring imperfection of perceiving certain members of our species as "different"... We have all heard these expressions at some point, I'm sure:

"That is not me."

"This is not me."

"Thank God that isn't me."

"I am not this. I am not that."

The build of our society prioritizes earnings. Possessions. Conquest... Which are all rather different from materialism, actually. At least in materialism, we associate the items, our lives, our bodies, with SOMETHING... We give them a bigger meaning. Conquest, on the other hand, is empty. It is destruction and slavery for the sake of owning, of having. Of showing how MUCH you have, how MUCH you own above others. Yes, I have money. I have capital. I worked my way to this position, for better or worse, but it was MY work. I made my way here through all the hardships life could present, and MORE so than those. But that money has use for others, which I use to make this city what it is... To make it appropriate for others to come and find the meaning of their own lives, if they so desire. I donate to the proper charities. I launch investments to give other non-governmental organizations the push they need to start making a difference...

...Maybe as I am now, I am not perfect... But the first step to achieve true human perfection is to treat the other as an other. As people, not things. Citizens, not slaves.

I believe the term for such feat was "BASIC HUMAN DECENCY". Something Ivo Robotnik... Eggman, doesn't have.

Eggman is no different from the masters of field that destroy nature to grow their cattle. No different from the old lords of commerce that cheat and lie their way into the bourgeois, to leech off the people's money and live in luxury. No different from the slave owner, that dehumanizes the different because of base racism... "But wait", says the detractor with his silver tongue, "YOU'RE dehumanizing him as well! You are acting just like you claim he is!"... But what other choice DO I have? What else is expected of me, to be better? Oh I AM better than him, by a mile... But only by descending to his level and wanting him dead will he ever stop. Only with Eggman's head exposed in public for the world to see, shall we send even a SLIVER of fear towards the others who follow his practices. I refuse to see this man treat humans like CATTLE, like THINGS to test his robots on! I refuse to see him use animals as BATTERIES!! And I REFUSE to see this fat waste of atoms turn undeserving living creatures into empty, metallic HUSKS of their old selves without free will!!

Eggman isn't a traitor to humanity because I say so. He is a traitor to humanity because he is the opposite of what humanity needs to be. No cooperation, just opportunities. No achievement, just conquest. No debates, just his ideas, his logic. The evils of free will are too much for him to handle, ladies and gentlemen, a man who refuses to treat nature, humans or animals as kin...

And people like him... Will soon burn in the fires they've started...
More of Ryan's choice words for Eggman! Hope you enjoy it!!

Pay evil unto evil, Ryan? That explains so much.
