===Backstory===========================================================

Flavio was born pretty much normally. A guy born in Brazil, he grew up as a kind, generous person in a very healthy ambient and family.
His first console was a Mega Drive, and his first video game was none other than the first Sonic the Hedgehog game. As the franchise developed more and more throughout the years, he kept following its growth and liked every game that he saw (with a few exceptions).
One day in 1998, he witnessed through the TV the epic battle between Sonic and Perfect Chaos, learning that Sonic was actually real. He also learned about Chris, Sonic's friends, and eventually Shadow.
He learned about every character as he grew up, and eventually memorized every bit of it: Shadow's creation, Silver's quest, Sonic's friendships and even the Metarex battle (Chris must have told someone). He became and avid fan of the hedgehog since then, decorating his room with lots of posters and other merchandising.
But sadly, this didn't help much at high school. Flavio was tagged as a geek, causing him to be constantly ignored by his classmates and bullied by second year student Alexandre "Alex" Adonis, which earned him a trip to the hospital one time. But his kindness gave him a few friends, Derek, Luke and John to help in in tough situations.
One day, the trio decided to make a band due to their musical abilities, and they invited Flavio to be a part of it. But Flavio claimed that he couldn't sing well (when he actually can) and declined the invitation, but the band still needed an agent and advisor, so Flavio decided to fill that role.
Recently, he witnessed Chris Thorndyke's failed speech and was one of the evacuated children when the schoolyard blew up. After his biology teacher Dr. Ryan Weever's mysterious resignation, he began to investigate its causes and see if there was any connection. Didn't take long for a Chaos Emerald to come through his window, eventually starting a chain of events that led him into meeting his idols and fighting alongside them against Dr. Weever.
After following them to Camelot and acquiring a sword and the ability to control light, Flavio is now ready to stand by Sonic's side and fight whoever comes to face them.


=== Personality============================================================

Flavio grew up with the Sonic games as a "babysitter" of sorts, basing most of his creed and rules on Sonic himself. As such, Flavio grew up determined and a bit cocky, although still with traits of his own. Like the hedgehog, Flavio is usually cheerful and tries not to let any bad news bring him down, and is also known to never quit a fight brought upon him. However, he is still very emotional and quick to anger, having outbursts whenever something frustrates him or is just way too hard to handle (such as a few video game levels). Before fully maturing into his teenage years, he was also more fragile and prone to beating from bullies like Alex Adonis, not being able to fight back due to his fear of being beaten again. Regardless, his persistence of overcoming his enemies remained even then.


Flavio looks up to Sonic as a true hero and a defender of peace, but also enjoys hanging out with his idol, regarding him as a best friend and helping him however he can, powerless or not. In fact, he stands up for any friend, fighting physically or mentally to keep them safe or help them in tight situations, using "gaming experience" (aka the "I-saw-it-on-a-game-once" approach) to solve these situations. His large sense of loyalty to friends and family also means Flavio doesn't take lightly to treason or betrayal, treating it as a nearly-unforgivable crime towards his circle of loved ones. Despite that, he is humble and apologetic, sometimes apologizing for things he didn't do himself and seeing himself lower than everyone around himself, especially Sonic, even despite the hedgehog's statement they're on the same level.


Flavio is also a very honorable fighter, refusing to finish off any enemy he considers still capable of redeeming, preferring to see their deeds punished via karma or arrest, sometimes refusing to kill enemies altogether. He will take action, however, if the enemy in question is a complete monster and/or has no regard for life. Either way, he tries not to fight these battles at all, unless when really necessary, to make sure he is still wanted around by his idol, who he is deeply afraid of upsetting.


===Appearance============================================================

Flavio is an average boy with short, light-brown hair and brown eyes. He is rather tall for his age, but no one seems to notice. The detail about Flavio is that every clothing he has resembles Sonic somehow: his average clothing is a vivid blue t-shirt with blue jeans and red-and-white sneakers that resemble Sonic's shoes. Lucia gave him a dark-blue blouse with white sleeves that are a nod to Sonic's Werehog form. He has another pair of shoes that have yellow tracings on them and a yellow t-shirt, as a nod to Sonic's Super form. Many other clothings of his are Sonic-themed, but not all of them.
