Records were recently discovered, dating around 1912, talking of a theory proposed by one "R. Lutece"... I'm not sure who this person might have been, but I'd be stupid not to admit... He or she was a genius...

This theory regards the existence of alternate UNIVERSES. Now, alternate words are becoming rather common nowadays, even with us only knowing two new ones so far... But Universes are a completely different story. Other Earths... Other Mobiuses (Other Mobii?).

In further detail, the theory goes as follows:

"There are doors to every possible outcome in the known universes. There are as many alternate routes as there are stars in the cosmos. And every variation has a change, while said changes remain virtually the same. Constants and variables."

Profound as it may be, it also had an interesting add-on...

"There's always a man. There's always a lighthouse. There's always a city."

I found it cryptic at first, but then... it clicked. Lutece's theory makes complete sense in this scenario. Ryan is our Man. His tower is the Lighthouse. Britannia is the City. At least, that's my own interpretation of the facts....

I also took time to ponder, would this mean that there are other Sonics and Shadows out there? If so, how were THOSE created? What would their origin be?

Regardless... My next research topic is set.
A little nod and wink to both BioShock and the (by the time of this release) incoming Sonic Boom. Hope ya like it!
